Gifts for Dad

To my dad I surrendered first

First I looked around,
saw my boundaries,
satisfied of my station,
surveillances my dad.

Comes God then, crossing the line.
I asked where He coming from,
He said, “From the other side!”
“What’s on the other side like? ”

“Oh, It’s your next door!”
Leaving abruptly, He quipped,
“Here things are as bright. ”

I kneeled unto Him,
“Till we visit you,
we stay a little longer--
in dad’s paradise.”
